Buachaille Etive Mor

Book your own Private Guide to the summit of Buachaille Etive Mor Scotland's most photographed mountain.Amaze your family and friends with the experience of a lifetime. This iconic mountain stands at the east of Glencoe, on the edge of Rannoch Moor and boasts fine vistas out over the moor. One of the Highlands wildest tracts of land and to the nearer mountains of Glencoe and the Blackmount. Our path is rocky and a steep climb as it winds it's way up Coire na Tulaich finishing on some steep ground. However from the lip of the corrie it becomes an easier walk to the lofty perch of Stob Dearg. Our efforts will be well worth it though when we reach the summit and you are rewarded with one of the best views in the Highlands of Scotland. Our return route takes us back the way we came up. The walk should take around 5hrs, is 6km long with 750m of ascent.

There is the option to extend the day depending on your legs and fitness. By continuing along the spectacular ridge to the other Munro of Stob Na Broige. The views on a good day down Glen Etive are super and it is easy to imagine why it was chosen as a location for the film Skyfall. The extension if taken adds considerable distance on to the day at 11km and,1000m ascent and around 6- 9 hrs walking. At a nice and chilled out pace there will be plenty of time to enjoy our surroundings and take pictures.

Please feel free to book the date that suits you best in 2017.
