This trip was set up to allow for a eco friendly and sustainable way to visit Glenfinnan.

Our journey to Glenfinnan will begin in Fort William. Catching the local bus service for the 30min drive.

We will have just over a hour to explore the village and Glenfinnan monument.

We will then visit the viaduct to view the crossing of the world famous Jacobite Steam Train or Harry Potter train

We will then make our way to Glenfinnan Station on the path with great views of the mountains and Loch Sheil

There will also be the opportunity to visit the Glenfinnan Station Museum. Run by local volunteers it is a interesting visit. Giving a very good idea of how the railway changed the West Highlands forever.

We will then catch our bus for the return journey to Fort William.

The walk is on good paths and pavements. So suitable for everyone.

Transport is via bus.

Bus from Fort William 0850am return 1pm
