Loch Ossian and Corrour Station Walk

 On this eco friendly public group walk we will catch the 0744 train from Fort William.

Our journey will take us on the famous West Highland Line to the remote halt of Corrour Station.

The journey is stunning as we journey round to the north of the mountains of Lochaber.Ben Nevis,Aonach Mor and the Grey Corrie's.

We step off at Corrour Station featured in the film Trainspotting. Our walk begins and finishes here.

The walk is suitable for families and beginners. We walk on mostly good forestry tracks around the beautiful Loch Ossian. At 9 miles/14.5km this is a long walk that should take around 5 - 6 hrs with very little ascent. With fantastic vistas of mountains,loch and moor.The walk will be at a leisurely pace with plenty stops for pictures and a picnic lunch.

Before catching our return train for the scenic journey back to Fort William at 1520 arriving around 1605
