Munro Bagging Week
A unique experience of the Scottish Highlands for you and your friends.This is a challenging week of hiking on some of the highest mountains in the UK including Ben Nevis. We will spend a week bagging Munro's from a base in Fort William,the Outdoor Capital of the UK.Taking in as many tops as possible. The week will be tough but you will get to stand on remote mountains,visit some of the most breathtaking places in Lochaber and the West Highlands. There is 5 days of hiking.We will have a free day midweek to rest our weary legs.
Aonach Mor and Aonach Beag
An easy start to the trip as we cheat and catch the gondola to 650m. Aonach Mor and Aonach Beag are both over 4000ft high and among the highest mountains in Scotland.
Buachaille Etive Mor
Walk to the summit of Buachaille Etive Mor Scotland's most photographed mountain. This iconic mountain stands at the east of Glencoe on the edge of Rannoch Moor and boasts fantastic vistas in every direction.
A rest day where you will have a chance to let the legs recover. A free day to see some of the magic that Lochaber has to offer or just relax with a book. I am more than happy to provide inspiration
Ben Na Lap
Catch the train to the remote halt of Corrour Station on Rannoch Moor. This solitary Munro stands on the edge of Rannoch Moor and boasts fantastic views of the Central Highlands.
We head off for the day to the North West Highlands to climb the stunning Sgurr a' Mhaoraich on the shores of Loch Quoich. The views from this mountain are nothing short of amazing with the mountains of Knoydart and Skye visible.
We finish the week off with a walk to the summit of Ben Nevis the roof of Scotland
A celebratory pint will be had in a local pub to celebrate our Munro Bagging!
